What’s included with your Cotton Club membership?

1. Correct amount of yarn in a surprise colorway (although we will attempt to honor all special color requests depending on available in-stock colorways.) Some months, we will offer an option for an alternate yarn.

2. Pattern or link to pattern for you to download (this is required by some of the pattern designers). We are always happy to suggest an alternate pattern if you want to try something else.

3. Shipping (the cost of the Club includes shipping.)

4. A very special gift for everyone who completes the club – a bonus 7th project! You will get the yarn and pattern to make a cotton (of course) mitered squares throw pillow. Mary Jeanne from Watkins Glen and Kathleen from the Rutland store will design this pattern that will make its premier for the 2010 Cotton Club members.

What is the cost of the Cotton Club?
Membership fee (non-refundable) - $15. If you pay for the entire Club at time of sign-up, we will waive the registration fee. Or if you are already in our Scarf-a-Month Club, we’ll waive the fee, as well.

Monthly charge - $25, payable on the 15th of each month. No refunds, no exchanges, no substitutions other than Club-offered alternates. You may cancel your membership at any time.

How can you sign up for Cotton Club membership?

You can call the shop (802.775.7800), send an email (yarnshopgmf@gmail.com), or register and pay online via PayPal. The first project, Stow-Away Shopping Bag, will be ready for pick up or shipping in about one week.

SPINNING!

There has been tremendous interest in spinning and we have several folks who are pleased to do demonstrations with the wheels that are in the store. If you've seen a demonstration or given spinning a try, and would like to take a spinning lesson, please call the store (802-775-7800)  to schedule a time. If you're interested in purchasing a spinning wheel from Louet, talk to us about that too and we'll try to work with you.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE!

The Knitting Guild has been invited to participate in Friday Night Live in downtown Rutland on July 16 from 6-10pm. It will be a great "fiber event" for knitters, crocheters, spinners, weavers, or anything fiber related. Bring your own chair and whatever project you'd like to work on in public. The Guild is hoping for fifty "fiber folks" so let's all do our part, and show up with needles, hooks, yarn, fiber, wheels, looms, in hand!
